Frontlines Statement of Ethics:
TPUSA Frontlines is a team of passionate and dedicated video journalists that doggedly pursue stories the legacy news media and the mainstream press either is ill-equipped to cover or willfully ignore. We go into the riot, onto the streets, and inside the conflict. We proudly tell stories that appeal to traditional Americans and to those who are tired of seeing propaganda and ideology blur, obfuscate, and corrupt the truth. We are not afraid to cover third-rail topics in American cultural and political life. From immigration, race, sectarianism, gender controversies, and America's forgotten communities and towns, TPUSA Frontlines endeavors to be courageous storytellers and intrepid reporters who seek out voices and perspectives the world seldom hears.
Truth, objectivity, and integrity. These are the cornerstones of Frontlines journalism. While we do not claim to to be impartial observers, we seek out original sources, key actors, and relevant witnesses while taking great pains to not misrepresent or oversimplify facts and details.
We recognize that in today's world, speed and reach of audience are necessary considerations, but we also believe speed can be the enemy of truth. We will not release video or images without verification of the who, what, and where, and we will refrain from editorializing events when the motives or goals of the subjects in question are unclear, presenting instead raw footage as it transpires letting the audience judge for themselves.
We will gather, update, and correct information throughout the lifetime of a news story.
We will avoid anonymous sources unless there are compelling social, legal, or safety considerations that trump our pursuit of transparency or otherwise inhibit the truth from being told.
We avoid undercover journalism or other surreptitious reporting methods unless and until traditional and transparent means have proven fruitless.
We seek to hold the powerful to account but will seek every means of allowing the subject of alleged wrongdoing an opportunity to respond to criticism.
We will never plagiarize and always give attribution.
We seek to serve the public balancing their right to know key information with the subject's right to presumed innocence.
We acknowledge that private individuals have a greater right to control information about themselves than do public personalities, officials, and elected leaders.
We will refuse gifts or offers from sponsors that could sway or influence our reporting.
